Carissa Clay has had over eleven years of classical ballet training from various studios in Utah, including The Academy of Ballet, Barlow Arts Conservatory, and Jacqueline’s School of Ballet. She has performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and The Firebird. She has also expanded her knowledge of dance to include jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and many other styles of dance as a member of Springville High School’s dance company and Charisma’s top Elite Competing Company. Carissa is currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts at BYU and dances on the performing ballet companies there. She has received multiple awards and scholarships for her choreography, leadership, and performance from the BYU dance department. We at Charisma are delighted to have Carissa join our teaching staff!
