Companies

Charisma jazz companies are trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Character, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Acro and Tumbling. Being on a company at Charisma provides dancers the chance to work towards a specific goal while forming friendships, learning to work as a team, gaining confidence, learning dedication and responsibility, and improving their dance abilities. Our companies compete at 4-6 competitions a year, attend 2 conventions, & perform at 2 recitals plus multiple additional events each year. They are a larger time commitment than our recreational program, but the time invested produces incredible growth!

You will find that being on a company will take your dancers to an entirely new level! Training in technique is of upmost importance at Charisma Studio. Our dancers win a majority of 1st places as well as Overall High Point Awards in all levels up to Advanced Division at most competitions!

Our soloists also take a majority of the Queen and 1st place awards. We encourage our dancers to perform solos as that also takes our dancers to a much higher level because of the focus on their own individual dancing.

In addition to local competitions, our top level company dancers will also have the opportunity to take solos and groups to National conventions! This a wonderful opportunity for dancers to compete & take classes from the top teachers and choreographers in the industry from Broadway to LA with many recognized from shows like So You Think You Can Dance, etc..

We also have a wonderful ballet program where our dancers are highly trained and have the opportunity to perform in full length ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan & Firebird.
