Seneca Thruston

Seneca Thurston is an accomplished dance educator and choreographer with over two decades of experience in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, tap, musical theater, ballroom, and tumbling. Her dynamic career spans professional performance, competitive success, and directing on both national and international stages. She received her foundational training at Center Stage Performing Arts in Orem, Utah.

Her performance highlights include being a featured dancer in Disney’s High School Musical 3, touring internationally with Odyssey Dance Theatre in productions such as Thriller, Shut Up and Dance, Giselle, and Romeo and Juliet, and starring in Vibe Performing Arts productions like Move, Evolutions of Dance, and One Night Only. Seneca has been recognized with a national scholarship from New York City Dance Alliance and multiple grand prize awards at national and collegiate dance competitions.

As an educator, Seneca has served on the dance faculty at Utah Valley University and led programs throughout Utah, including as Company Director at The Pointe Academy and Jazz Director at The Dance Conservatory. She has also judged for USA and Relevé Dance Competitions, sharing her expertise with the next generation of dancers.

At the heart of her work is a deep passion for movement as a tool for transformation. Seneca is devoted to inspiring dancers to move with intention, grow in confidence, and chase their dreams with courage and heart.
