Leila has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, dancing at The Dance Zone. She enjoyed jazz, tap, ballet, and gymnastics; at the age of 8 she switched to Scottish Highland Dance. She's competed at a Premier Level and has her Teaching Associates (SDTA) in Scottish Dance. In High School she discovered her love for teaching and choreography; where she and her twin sister got to choreograph for their school's choir and theatre departments. Choreographing shows such as Hairspray and High School Musical.

Since graduating high school she's been attending BYU, working towards receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. During her freshman year she discovered Ballroom Dance and has been dancing and competing going on 4 years. She is a member of the BYU Ballroom Dance Showcase Company and is serving as Team Captain. She is so excited to get to share her love for dance with these talented dancers!
